Waterfalls in Tochigi Vol.1: August 2023

 I love traveling.

私は旅行が好きです。

Especially I like visiting wonderful nature places such as mountains, woods, lakes, rivers, gorges, waterfalls, glaciers, beaches, and so on.
特に自然の素晴らしい山、森、湖、川、渓谷、滝、氷河、海岸等々を訪れるのが好きです。

I love to see beautiful things and take pictures.
私は美しいものを見て写真を撮るのが好きです。

When I published my 14th e-book titled “My Favorite Places in Venezuela: Waterfalls” (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GZDJJ8X) in August 2020, I sent the present link to my friends. One of my friends from Yaita, Tochigi replied, “Please come to see Oshiraji no taki (Oshiraji Waterfall) in Yaita next time.” Since that time, Oshiraji Waterfall has become one of the destinations of my trip visiting waterfalls.
2020年8月に14冊目の電子書籍『私のベネズエラのお気に入りの場所：滝』(https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B08GZDJJ8X)を出版した時に、友人にプレゼントのリンクを送りました。栃木県矢板市に住む友人が「今度は矢板市のおしらじの滝にもお越しください」と返事をくれました。その時から、おしらじの滝が、私の滝巡りの目的地の一つになりました。

We have tried to visit several times, but we could not make it until this summer.
何度か試みましたが、この夏まで行けませんでした。

There are several waterfalls in Yaita, but unfortunately some promenades along the waterfalls were under construction and we could visit a few of them this time.
矢板にはいくつか滝がありますが、残念ながら、遊歩道が工事中で今回は少ししか行くことが出来ませんでした。

I heard the construction would be completed next spring. Therefore I am looking forward to visiting more waterfalls next time.
来年の春に工事が終わると聞きました。だから次回はもっとたくさんの滝を訪れたいと思っています。

This time my friends and I visited Oshiraji (Pot) Waterfall, Aka (Red) Waterfall, and Keicho (Listening) Waterfall.
今回、友人と私は、おしらじの滝、赤滝、傾聴の滝に行きました。

Unfortunately there was not much water flowing at Oshiraji Waterfall. At Aka Waterfall, I found shrines and enjoyed visiting there.
残念ながらおしらじの滝にはあまり水が流れていませんでした。赤滝には神社があり、行けて良かったです。
