200 View of Mt. Fuji: From October 2023 to February 2026

 To be a bridge between Japan and other countries is my life‘s work.

This is the 200th anniversary edition.
これは200冊目の記念です。

I have thought and thought what I should publish as the 200th anniversary e-book for a long time.
200冊記念に何を出版しようか長いこと考えていました。

As the 100th anniversary edition, I published 100 pictures of Mt. Fuji which were taken from 2002 to September 2023.
100冊目の記念は2002年から2023年9月までに撮った富士山の100枚の写真集にしました。

It’s been nearly two years and a half since then.
それから約2年半です。

Therefore, I decided to publish the 200 pictures of Mt. Fuji I took since October 2023.
ですから、2023年10月から私が撮った200枚の富士山の写真集を出版することにしました。

Everything has different aspect from different time and condition.
すべてのことは時間や条件で違って見えるものです。

Mt. Fuji also looks different in the different season, time, weather, and location.
富士山も、季節、時間、天候、場所によって違って見えます。

In Japan we celebrate the new year on January 1 and we have many customs and events in January.

Shichifukujinn meguri is an event to pray for good fortune by visiting shrines and/or temples which enshrine Seven Lucky Gods.
七福神巡りは七福神を祀っている神社仏閣を参拝して開運を祈る行事です。

If you do, they say you can receive seven blessings.
七福神巡りをすると、7つの福運を受けられるそうです。

It seems visiting Seven Lucky Gods pilgrimage started in Muromachi period (1336-1573) and has become popular since the Edo period (1603-1868).
七福神巡りは室町時代（1336-1573）に始まり、江戸時代（1603-1868）から流行っているようです。

Hoteison: The God of Contentment (Chinese)
Ebisu: The Guardian of Fishermen and God of Better Fortune (Japanese)
Fukurokuju: The God of Wealth and Longevity (Chinese)
Benzaiten: The Goddess of Eloquence, Music, and Art (Indian)
Jurojin: The God of Longevity (Chinese)
Daikokuten: The God of Wealth (Indian)
Bishamonten: The God of Warriors and Treasure (Indian)

布袋尊：　豊かな暮らしと円満な家庭の守護神（中国）
恵比寿神：　漁業の守護と商売繁昌・開運の神（日本）
福禄寿：　長寿の神（中国）

寿老人：　不老不死の霊薬を持つという長寿の神（中国）
大黒天：　開運厄除の神（インド）
毘沙門天：　四天王として知られる商売繫昌、勝運、開運厄除の神（インド）

Every year I try to visit the new Seven Lucky Gods.
毎年新しい七福神巡りをするようにしています。

This year I visited the Shinjuku area in Tokyo. It is about 7km in total.
今年は東京の新宿にしました。全長約7キロです。

Usually, Shichifukujin meguri is only available for the first week of January or until 15th of January. However, Shinjuku Yamanote Shichifukujin Meguri is available for all the year around.
通常七福神巡りは1月の第1週か15日くらいまでしかできませんが、新宿山ノ手七福神めぐりは年中行うことができます。

Sunlight: January 2026

 I love to see beautiful things and take pictures.

My Trip to Sanin Sanyo 2025 Vol. 5: Hiroshima

There are some shrines I visit every year.

Last year when I visited there, I visited 4 prefectures before and after: Okayama, Tottori, Shimane, and Hiroshima which is called Sanin Sanyo Regions.

My Trip to Sanin Sanyo 2025 Vol.4: Shimane

There are some shrines I visit every year.
毎年訪れる神社がいくつかあります。

One of them is Izumo Oyashiro at the time of the Kamiarizuki in Lunar calendar.
そのうちの一つが旧暦の神在月の出雲大社です。

I have attended Meikai Mr. Hiroto Fujimoto’s one night two days tour for the past several years.
ここ数年明階藤本宏人先生の1泊2日のツアーで行っています。

Last year it was held from Thursday, December 4 to Friday, December 5.
昨年は12月4日（木）から5日（金）にかけて行われました。

I have been thinking where to go before and after the tour for a long time.
その前後にどこに行こうかずっと考えていました。

Since Kamimukae shinji, welcoming gods ceremony, was held on Saturday, November 29, I decided to go to see it for the first time.
11月29日（土）に神迎神事があったので、初めてそれを見に行くことにしました。

I left Yokohama late at night on November 28, and arrived at Okayama in the next morning, and I visited two shrines there.
11月28日の夜遅く横浜を出発して翌朝岡山に着き、2つの神社を参拝しました。

After that I went to Matsue and Izumo.

My Trip to Sanin Sanyo 2025 Vol.3: Oki Islands

Last year when I went to Izumo for the annual visit, I went to Oki Islands where I have wanted to visit for a long time.
昨年出雲に年参りに行った時、念願の隠岐の島に行きました。

I have asked my friends who have been there before and got some advice.
隠岐に行ったことのある友人にいろいろ聞いてアドバイスをいただきました。

There are four islands, therefore I decided to go there for two nights three days.
4島あるので、2泊3日で行くことにしました。

I booked the hotels at Okinoshima town in Togo and Nishinoshima town in Tozen, and planned to go there by ferry.
島後の隠岐の島町と島前の西ノ島町のホテルを予約し、フェリーで行く計画を立てました。

There are two ports to go to Oki Islands, one is Sakai Minato port in Tottori, and the other is Shichiruiko port in Shimane.
隠岐の島に行くには2つの港があります。一つは鳥取の境港、もう一つは島根の七類港です。

I decided to take a ferry from Sakai Minato port on my way there, and to Shichiruiko port on my way back.
行きは境港からフェリーに乗り、帰りは七類港に帰ってくることにしました。
