Waterfalls in Tokyo Vol. 3: May 2023

I love traveling.

Especially I like visiting wonderful nature places such as mountains, woods, lakes, rivers, gorges, waterfalls, glaciers, beaches, and so on.
特に自然の素晴らしい山、森、湖、川、渓谷、滝、氷河、海岸等々を訪れるのが好きです。

I love to see beautiful things and take pictures.
私は美しいものを見て写真を撮るのが好きです。

If you hear “Tokyo,” what do you imagine?
東京と聞くと何を思い浮かべますか？

Tokyo is the capital of Japan, and the center of politics, economics, culture, information, academic, art, entertainment, and so on.
東京は日本の首都で、政治、経済、文化、情報、学問、芸術、エンターテイメント等々の中心です。

There are so many restaurants of various foods around the world, modern skyscrapers, traditional buildings and many touristic places to visit.
世界中の様々な料理のレストランがあり、近代的な高層ビルもあれば、伝統的な建築物や沢山の観光地があります。

It is a big city, but there are islands and wonderful nature places too.
大都市ですが、島もあるし素晴らしい自然もあるのです。

Three year ago I happened to know about the Kuzuryu jinja shrine and the nearby waterfalls of Hinohara village in Tokyo.
3年前たまたま東京の桧原村にある九頭龍神社とその近くの滝について知りました。

I decided to visit there with four friends using public transportations during the Golden Week in 2021.
4人の友人と公共交通機関を使って2021年のゴールデンウィーク中に行くことにしました。

It was fine in the first year and we really enjoyed visiting the shrine with three waterfalls and taking beautiful pictures.

最初の年はとてもいい天気で、私たちは神社参拝と3つの滝巡りを楽しみ、沢山の美しい写真を撮りました。

Most of them have become very popular and successful in the online business world since that time.
ほとんどの人は、それからすごく人気が出て、オンラインビジネスで成功しました。

So I decided to visit there next year again.
そこで翌年も行くことにしました。

It was cloudy in the morning and became rain later in the second year.
2年目の朝は曇っていて、その後雨になりました。

I visited the Kuzuryu jinja shrine first, and visited three waterfalls as the previous year.
前年通り九頭龍神社と3つの滝にまず行きました。

After that I got together with my friend and took a bus and visited another waterfall named Hossawa no taki. It was another wonderful place.
その後友人と合流して、バスに乗り、払沢の滝に行きました。そこも素晴らしいところでした。

On our way back, we happened to see monkeys and were led by them to see the sacred trees behind the shrine.
帰る途中、猿に導かれて神社の裏に行き、御神木を見ることが出来ました。

Since I enjoyed visiting there for two years, I decided to go there again with two friends this year too.
2年間とても良かったので、今年も2人の友人と行くことにしました。

It was fine this year too and I took very beautiful pictures of waterfalls with sunlight.
今年もとても良いお天気で、美しい光と滝の写真がたくさん撮れました。

We decided to go to the end of the bus line, visit the new waterfall, and go down the mountain visiting the three waterfalls as usual.
バスの終点まで行き、新しい滝を訪れ、いつものように3つの滝を訪れながら山を下りることにしました。

I went to the Hinohara village after visiting Kanda myojin shrine to attend a monthly ceremony.
日野原村には、神田明神の月次祭に出てから行きました。

I visited the Kuzuryu jinja shrine first, and visited three waterfalls as the previous year.
前年通り九頭龍神社と3つの滝にまず行きました。

Sunlight: April 2023

 I love to see beautiful things and take pictures.

I like to take pictures of sunlight through trees, clouds, and other things.
私は木漏れ日を撮るのが好きです。

When I take pictures at the sacred places like shrines and temples, I can take wonderful light pictures without realizing.
神社仏閣のような神聖な場所で写真を撮ると、気づかぬうちに素晴らしい光の写真が撮れていることがあります。
