They say if you go around from No. 1 to No. 88, it is called “
Jun uchi (regular visiting).”

If you visit from No. 88 to No. 1, it is called “
Gyaku uchi (reverse order visiting.”)

If you do “
Gyaku uchi” in a leap year, they say the blessings you receive will be three times as great as usual.

It is very difficult to complete even once; there are many people who have visited there for many times.

I cannot do many times, but if I have a chance, I want to try
Gyaku uchi next time.

Visiting 5 Shrines in Nara: September 2025

 I love traveling.

When I planned to travel
Kansai this summer, there were some shrines I wanted to visit but could not because of the limited time.

They were located in
Nara prefecture and it was very difficult to visit by public transportations.

When I visited the website of the shrines, I happened to find a good bus tour which was held on Sunday, therefore I decided to join the tour with my friend who also wanted to visit there in summer.

This is the record of my trip to visit 5 shrines in
Nara prefecture on September 21, 2025.
