My Trip to Tochigi: August 2023

 I love traveling.  

私は旅行が大好きです。

 

I have been to many places in my life.

私は今までの人生いろいろなところに行ってきました。

 

I like to see beautiful places and take pictures.

私は美しいところを見て、写真を撮るのが好きです。

 

Under the COVID-19 situation, we cannot travel around the world freely as we used to.

コロナ禍では、かつてのように自由に海外旅行が出来ません。

 

Therefore I have traveled around Japan instead.

だから、その代わり、私は国内を旅しています。

 

On the Day of Mountain I went to Yaita, Tochigi to see my friend. I met her at the teacher employment examination day for the first time, and met again at the newly hired teachers training next time. We started the teaching career at the same time, and finished about the same time and started our new lives.

山の日に友人に会いに栃木県矢板市に行きました。彼女とは教員採用試験の日に初めて会い、次に新採用研修で再会しました。同時期に教師になり、同じ頃退職し、次の新しい人生を始めました。

 

We have had many hobbies in common such as traveling, kimono, tea ceremony, and so on.

私たちは、旅行や着物や茶道など、同じ趣味がありました。

 

When I published my 14^th e-book titled “My Favorite Places in Venezuela: Waterfalls” (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08GZDJJ8X) in August 2020, I sent the present link to my friends. She replied, “Please come to see Oshiraji no taki (Oshiraji Waterfall) in Yaita next time.” Since that time, Oshiraji Waterfall has become one of the destinations of my trip visiting waterfalls.

2020年8月に14冊目の電子書籍『私のベネズエラのお気に入りの場所：滝』(https://www.amazon.co.jp/dp/B08GZDJJ8X)を出版した時に、友人にプレゼントのリンクを送りました。彼女が「今度は矢板市のおしらじの滝にもお越しください」と返事をくれました。その時から、おしらじの滝が、私の滝巡りの目的地の一つになりました。

 

We have tried to visit several times, but we could not make it until this summer.

何度か試みましたが、この夏まで行けませんでした。

 

Finally I could visit Yaita, and she took me many places, and next day we visited three waterfalls, and I published the e-book as follows.

After leaving Yaita, I went to Utsunomiya to see the fireworks festival and headed for Nikko by myself.　.

矢板を出て、花火大会を見るために宇都宮に行き、その後一人で日光に向かいました。

 

Next day I visited four waterfalls and some shrines and published about the trip as follows.

Besides waterfalls I have visited some places for three days.
