100 Mount Fuji: World Heritage

 I love traveling.

私は旅行が大好きです。

I have been to many places in my life.
私は今までの人生いろいろなところに行ってきました。

I like to see beautiful places and take pictures.
私は美しいところを見て、写真を撮るのが好きです。

Under the COVID-19 situation, we cannot travel around the world freely as we used to.
コロナ禍では、かつてのように自由に海外旅行が出来ません。

Therefore I have traveled around Japan instead.
だから、その代わり、私は国内を旅しています。

This is the 100th anniversary e-book for me, and I have been thinking what I should deal with.
これは私にとって100冊目の記念の電子書籍になりますので、何を扱おうかずっと考えていました。

On June 20, 2020 I became a “Power Spot Meister” under the guidance of Meikai Hiroto Fujimoto, which is like a tour conductor arranging the tour to visit shrines and temples, dinner, and giving lectures about the place, and so on. He asked us to post our own power spot to visit to our Facebook group page. And I chose Mount Fuji.
2020年6月20日に私は、明階藤本宏人先生のご指導の下で、“パワースポットマイスター（現代版御師）”になりました。それは神社仏閣参拝ツアーを企画したり、直会をしたり、その場所について講義したりするツアコンのような存在です。先生が私たちにFacebook groupに自分のパワースポットについて投稿するようにおっしゃいました。私は富士山を選びました。

Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan, which is 3,776.24m (12,389ft 3 in) high. It is located between Yamanashi prefecture and Shizuoka prefecture.
富士山は日本一高く3,776．24メートル（12,389フィート3インチ）あります。
山梨県と静岡県の間にあります。

It is not only beautiful but also the target of the religion.
それは美しいだけでなく信仰の対象でもあります。

I have climbed there once in the summer of 1984 with my friends. It was rather hard. But the view of the sunrise from the summit was amazing.
私は一度だけ1984年の夏に友人と登ったことがあります。かなり大変でした。しかし山頂からのご来光は素晴らしかったです。

There is a shrine called Sengen jinja on the summit, and I drew Omikuji, paper fortune which said “Daikichi” excellent luck. Since that time I stopped drawing the paper fortune at shrines or temples because it was the best result at the highest place in Japan.
山頂に浅間神社があります。お御籤を引いたら大吉でした。それ以降私は神社仏閣でお神籤を引くのをやめました。なぜなら、日本の最高の場所で最高の結果が出たので、もうこれ以上のことはないからです。

We usually start climbing there from the 5th station.
私たちは普通富士山には五合目から登り始めます。

To my surprise one of my power spot meister friends has started walking from Nihonbashi, Tokyo and climbed from the bottom of the mountain like the people of the past did. How great‼
驚いたことに私のパワースポットマイスター仲間の一人は、昔の人々がしていたように東京の日本橋から歩き、山の麓から登頂しました。なんと凄いこと
でしょう！

To my very lucky I can see Mount Fuji from my house and I often take pictures of Mount Fuji and the sunset.
とても幸運なことに、我が家から富士山が見え、私はよく富士山と夕日の写真を撮ります。

It’s been 10 years since the “Fujisan, sacred place and source of artistic inspiration” has been inscribed upon the World Heritage List of the Convention concerning the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage.
今年は「富士山―信仰の対象と芸術の源泉」がユネスコの世界文化遺産に登録されて10年になります。

Most of Japanese people love Mount Fuji, and so do I.
ほとんどの日本人が富士山が大好きで、私もそうです。

Whenever I take a flight to the south, I take the window side seat to see the Mount Fuji, and take pictures.
飛行機で南に行くときは必ず、窓際の席を撮り、富士山を見て、写真を撮ります。

Whenever I take a Shinkansen to the west, I take the window side seat to see the Mount Fuji and take pictures.
新幹線で西に行くときは必ず、富士山を見るために窓際の席を撮り、写真を撮ります。

When we see the beautiful Mount Fuji from the above and from the Shinkansen, we feel happy and lucky.
上空や新幹線から美しい富士山が見えると、私たちはとても嬉しく幸運に感じます。

So I decided this special edition as a collection of 100 pictures of my favorite Mount Fuji which I have taken for a long time.
だからこの特別号を私が長いこと撮りためたお気に入りの富士山100枚の写真集にすることにしました。
