My Trip to Sanin Sanyo 2025 Vol. 5: Hiroshima

There are some shrines I visit every year.
毎年訪れる神社がいくつかあります。

One of them is Izumo Oyashiro at the time of the Kamiarizuki in Lunar calendar.
そのうちの一つが旧暦の神在月の出雲大社です。

Last year when I visited there, I visited 4 prefectures before and after: Okayama, Tottori, Shimane, and Hiroshima which is called Sanin Sanyo Regions.
昨年そこに行った時に、その前後に4つの都道府県に行きました：山陰山陽と呼ばれる岡山、鳥取、島根、そして広島です。

My Trip to Sanin Sanyo 2025 Vol.4: Shimane

There are some shrines I visit every year.
毎年訪れる神社がいくつかあります。

One of them is Izumo Oyashiro at the time of the Kamiarizuki in Lunar calendar.
そのうちの一つが旧暦の神在月の出雲大社です。

I have attended Meikai Mr. Hiroto Fujimoto’s one night two days tour for the past several years.
ここ数年明階藤本宏人先生の1泊2日のツアーで行っています。

Last year it was held from Thursday, December 4 to Friday, December 5.
昨年は12月4日（木）から5日（金）にかけて行われました。

I have been thinking where to go before and after the tour for a long time.
その前後にどこに行こうかずっと考えていました。

Since Kamimukae shinji, welcoming gods ceremony, was held on Saturday, November 29, I decided to go to see it for the first time.
11月29日（土）に神迎神事があったので、初めてそれを見に行くことにしました。

I left Yokohama late at night on November 28, and arrived at Okayama in the next morning, and I visited two shrines there.
11月28日の夜遅く横浜を出発して翌朝岡山に着き、2つの神社を参拝しました。

After that I went to Matsue and Izumo.
その後松江と出雲に行きました。

Next day I went to Sakai minato port to go to Oki Islands.
翌日隠岐の島に行くために境港に行きました。

After that I came back to Matue and went to Izumo again and attended the tour from the next day.

Last year when I went to Izumo for the annual visit, I went to Oki Islands where I have wanted to visit for a long time.
昨年出雲に年参りに行った時、念願の隠岐の島に行きました。

I have asked my friends who have been there before and got some advice.
隠岐に行ったことのある友人にいろいろ聞いてアドバイスをいただきました。

There are four islands, therefore I decided to go there for two nights three days.
4島あるので、2泊3日で行くことにしました。

I booked the hotels at Okinoshima town in Togo and Nishinoshima town in Tozen, and planned to go there by ferry.
島後の隠岐の島町と島前の西ノ島町のホテルを予約し、フェリーで行く計画を立てました。

There are two ports to go to Oki Islands, one is Sakai Minato port in Tottori, and the other is Shichiruiko port in Shimane.
隠岐の島に行くには2つの港があります。一つは鳥取の境港、もう一つは島根の七類港です。

I decided to take a ferry from Sakai Minato port on my way there, and to Shichiruiko port on my way back.
行きは境港からフェリーに乗り、帰りは七類港に帰ってくることにしました。

There are some shrines I visit every year.
いくつか年参りをしている神社があります。

One of them is Ise Jingu at the time of the New Year’s Eve of lunar calendar, and another is Izumo Oyashiro at the time of Kamiarizuki of lunar calendar.
その一つが、旧暦の年越しの伊勢神宮で、もう一つが旧暦の神在月の出雲大社です。

When I decided to go to Izumo Oyashiro in 2025 as a tour of Meikai Mr. Hiroto Fujimoto as usual, I had been thinking how and where I go before and after the tour.
いつものように明階藤本宏人先生のツアーで出雲大社に行くことにした時、その前後にどこにどのように行こうか考えていました。

After all I decided to go to Izumo via Okayama, and attend Kamimukae Shinji ceremony at Inasa Beach on Saturday, November 29 and stay at Matsue and go to Oki Islands for two nights, and come back to Matsue for one night, and go to Izumo to stay one night and attend Enmusubi Taisai festival in the morning on December 4, and attend Meikai Mr. Hiroto Fujimoto’s one night two days tour, and go to Hiroshima.
結局、岡山経由で出雲に行き11月29日（土）に稲佐の浜での神迎神事に参加し、松江に泊まり、2泊3日で隠岐の島に行き、松江に1晩戻り、出雲に行き1泊し、12月4日の午前中の縁結大祭に参加し、明階藤本宏人先生の1泊2日のツアーに参加し、広島に行くことにしました。

After visiting some places in Matsue and Izumo, I went to Sakai Minato port to go to Oki Islands.
松江と出雲でいくつかの場所に行った後に隠岐の島に行くために境港に行きました。

Sakai Minato port is very famous for seafood market especially crabs, and Mr. MIZUKI Shigeru, manga artist. His most famous series is GeGeGe no Kitaro which I enjoyed watching TV programs when I was young.
境港は魚特にカニと漫画家の水木しげる氏で知られています。彼の代表作は『ゲゲゲの鬼太郎』で私も小さいときにテレビでよく見て楽しんでいました。

This is a record of my trip to Sakai Minato port in Tottori before going to Oki Islands.

There are some shrines I visit every year.
いくつか年参りをしている神社があります。

To my lucky I could take a week off so I decided to see the Kamimukae Shinji ceremony which I had wished to see for a long time on Saturday, November 29 for the first time.
幸運なことに1週間お休みが取れたので、初めて念願の11月29日（土）の神迎神事を見に行くことにしました。

There were so many places I wanted to go, and to go to Hiroshima to visit my ancestor’s graveyard was already on the list.
たくさん行きたいところがあり、広島でお墓参りをすることはすでに決まっていました。

To be at Inasa Beach in the evening of Saturday, November 29, I thought it was the best way to take a night bus to Okayama and visit two shrines I have wanted to visit for a long time in the morning and take another bus to Izumo.
11月29日（土）の夕方に稲佐の浜にいるためには、夜行バスで岡山に行き、午前中に長年行きたかっ２つの神社を参拝してから、バスで出雲に向かうのが一番いいと思いました。

Sunlight: December 2025

 I love to see beautiful things and take pictures.

When I take pictures at the sacred places like shrines and temples, I can take wonderful light pictures without realizing.
