Takatoriyama Hiking: April 2024

I was born in Yokosuka and grew up in Miura, Kanagawa, Japan.

私は日本の神奈川県横須賀生まれ、三浦育ちです。

I went to a high school in Yokosuka.
私は横須賀の高校に行きました。

Last year in January there was a new year’s party with high school class mates after four years or so.
昨年1月に4年ぶりくらいで高校のクラスメートと集まり新年会をしました。

At that time, we decided to get together more and climb the low-mountains to keep healthy.
その時に、健康のために、低山ハイキングをしようということになり、定期的に集まるようになりました。

Last year we got together 6 times and enjoyed hiking.
昨年6回集まりハイキングを楽しみました。

So, I decided to introduce the hiking courses we had taken as the new series.
そこで、新しいシリーズでハイキングコースを紹介することにしました。

This is the record of the second hiking we went to Takatoriyama on April 14, 2024.

My Trip to Fuji by Bus Tour: May 2025

 I love traveling.  

私は旅行が大好きです。

 

I have been to many places in my life.

私は今までの人生いろいろなところに行ってきました。

 

I like to see beautiful places and take pictures.

私は美しいところを見て、写真を撮るのが好きです。

 

I like spring very much because of the mild climate, beautiful flowers and my birthday.

私は春がとても好きです。気候がいいし、花が美しいし、誕生日があるので。

 

Last year I went to see Nemophila to Hitachi Seaside Park in Ibaraki and Wisteria to Ashikaga Flower Park in Tochigi.

昨年は茨城県のひたち海浜公園にネモフィラを栃木県のあしかがフラワーパークに藤を見に行きました。

 

This year I went to see Moss Phloxes Festival at Fuji.

今年は富士芝桜まつりに行ってきました。

My Trip to Osaka: April 2025

 I love traveling.

私は旅行が大好きです。

I have been to many places in my life.
私は今までの人生いろいろなところに行ってきました。

I like to see beautiful places and take pictures.
私は美しいところを見て、写真を撮るのが好きです。

Have you been to the EXPO 2025 yet?
もう大阪・関西万博に行かれましたか？

To my lucky I have been there for three times on the opening day, April 13, and 14 and 16.
幸運なことに開幕日の4月13日と翌日14日と16日の3日間行ってきました。

For me EXPO is something special.
私にとって万博は特別な存在です。

I have worked at EXPO 92 in Seville, Spain and EXPO 2005 in Aichi, Japan.
私は1992年のスペインセビリア万国博覧会と2005年の愛・地球博で働いた経験があります。

I wished to work at EXPO 2025 too, but I did not try anything.
大阪・関西万博でも働いてみたい気持ちはありましたが、挑戦しませんでした。

I did not think I could visit on the opening day, but when I asked my EXPO mania friend, he said it was still possible to enter. Therefore, I decided to visit there. From the experience I knew I needed much time to see EXPO, so I bought a Season Pass for yen30,000.
開幕日に行けるとは思っていなかったのですが、EXPOマニアの友人に聞いたら、まだ入れるということだったので、行くことにしました。経験上、EXPOを見るのには時間がたくさん必要なので、30,000円の通期パスを買うことにしました。

Sunlight: April 2025

 I love to see beautiful things and take pictures.

私は美しいものを見て写真を撮るのが好きです。

I like to take pictures of sunlight through trees, clouds, and other things.
私は木漏れ日を撮るのが好きです。

When I take pictures at the sacred places like shrines and temples, I can take wonderful light pictures without realizing.
神社仏閣のような神聖な場所で写真を撮ると、気づかぬうちに素晴らしい光の写真が撮れていることがあります。

My Trip to Enoshima: April 2025

 I love traveling.

私は旅行が大好きです。

I have been to many places in my life.
私は今までの人生いろいろなところに行ってきました。

I like to see beautiful places and take pictures.
私は美しいところを見て、写真を撮るのが好きです。

There are many sightseeing spots in Kanagawa prefecture where I live.
私の住んでいる神奈川県にはたくさんの観光地があります。

One of them is Enoshima.
そのうちのひとつが江の島です。

When I was young, my friends from university and I used to have overnight seminars in Enoshima.
若いころは大学時代の友人と江の島で泊りがけのセミナーをよくしていました。

For the past few years, I go to Enoshima every year to visit the Island SPA　after the Enoshima shrines.
ここ数年は毎年、江島神社参拝後に江の島アイランドスパに行っています。

Since this year is the Year of Snake, I wanted to visit the Enoshima shrine, which is one of the three greatest Benzaiten in Japan, for the festival wearing kimono.
今年は巳年なので、日本三大弁財天のひとつ江島神社のお祭りに着物を着て参列したいと思っていました。

It is rather difficult to go to spa when we wear kimono. Therefore, I decided to stay overnight in Enoshima and enjoy spa on the first night and visit the festival on the second day.
着物を着てスパに行くのはちょっと難しいです。だから江の島に１泊して、初日の夜にスパに行き、翌日お祭りに行くことにしました。

There were four invitation tickets for spa, so I invited three friends who likes kimono.
4枚スパへの招待券があったので、着物好きの友人を3人招待することにしました。
